Rosie Made A Thing ‘Runner Inside’ Mug

Made from bone china, the mug features an illustration of a woman dressed in red workout gear, as well as striking leopard print leggings. She is stretching, getting ready for her run, whilst also snacking on a biscuit. The tongue-in-cheek phrase, in a typewritten font, reads;
‘There’s a
runner inside
all of us,
screaming
to get out’
‘But we can
usually shut

biscuit’
The comical illustration is set against the crisp white of the bone china and on the reverse is the same illustration without the text. This brilliant mug is large enough to hold 350ml of liquid, perfect for tea or coffee, wine or any beverage of choice.

Inspired by the ridiculous side of everyday life, Rosie created her designs with no artistic qualifications. In 2015 she headed to a Spring Fair at NEC with just 30 cards. The following year she won a Henry Award for Best Humorous Range! The range features illustrated quirky characters accompanied by humorous, tongue-in-cheek phrases. Starting on greeting cards, these designs have transferred wonderfully to sleek bone china mugs.
